MID YEAR RECAP + THINGS TO REMEMBER

It's crazy to think that we are more than half way through 2016. June flew by... or maybe it felt that way because god has finally blessed us with some good weather! Regardless summer '16 has started out pretty strong if you ask me.

The first half of 2016 was a roller coaster. I have to say this year has definitely exceeded last year thus far and I'm hopeful that this will continue.

I feel like 2016 has been a year focused on self-improvement, not just for myself but for others as well. It's never to late to better yourself and start living your life the way you want to live it.

If you want that body don't be lazy. Hit the gym.. hard. You want a summer glow? Apply as much Gold Deposit on those cheekbones as your please. Don't wanna wear makeup at all? Go bare faced. You want to put on eyelashes to run to the grocery store? Go ahead. Don't let anyone stop you from living your life the way you see fit.

Here are some reminders and tips that I've found useful

1. Planning and setting goals is a major key. Don't expect miracles to happen over night but keep making moves and it will happen. Be patient.

2. Drink water, exfoliate, moisturize and stop stressing over things/people that don't matter. Instant glow.. I promise!

3. Don't be afraid to "start over" and switch things up. If you don't like something, change it. Holding onto toxic habits and relationships is destructive.

4. Invest in yourself. This doesn't necessarily have to mean money, but invest your time and effort.

5. There is a fine line between self-reflection and being self involved. Minding your own business is a key to happiness, but being too wrapped up in your own life can make you ignorant to the world around you.

I hope this summer brings all of you many barbecues, trips to the beach and late night food runs. Stay safe.
